A dream deferred, finally realized. YTT 200 ☑️🧘🏽‍♀️

#YTT200 #YogaTeacherTraining #HouseOfOm #UbudYoga #YogaJourney

10 years ago I stepped on a mat for the first time, unaware of where it would lead me. Oh, to be 25! ✨

Yoga has been my way to cope through challenging times. 2025 dragged me, so I was determined to make 2026 the pivot I needed.

Restarting at 34, on the verge of 35, felt different. This time I showed up with discipline! 💪🏽

10 days to deepen a practice I’ve started and stopped more times than I can count.

Settling into what would become home for the next 10 days. 🥹

House of Om will forever hold a special place in my heart! 🫶🏽🌺

Looking back, my mat was always a mirror. Every time I fell off, it wasn’t the practice I was avoiding. It was myself! 😮‍💨

I wasn’t able to do a headstand halfway through training. I want to remind my future students, again and again, that they can do hard things! 😤

Holding hard poses. Being consistent when it’s inconvenient. This is the practice, on and off the mat! 💯

Learning to teach by first learning to be held. 🤝🏽

By the end, I could. Oof, the trust it took to get there! 🙌🏽

There is a lesson in every accomplishment, every failure, and every adventure. I’ve learned to trust the journey. 🌅

Reflection day. Time to step off the mat and let everything settle. 😌

A spiritual healing experience, releasing frustration, disappointment, and negative thoughts to make room for positive energy. 🤯

This has been a year of ‘if not now, when?’ It fueled me to finally make this jump, and now I’m carrying it permanently!

Preparing to offer my students what I remind myself of daily: you can do hard things. 🍵

Putting it all into practice. 💁🏽‍♀️ Couldn’t have asked for better students during my practical exam! 🫶🏽✨

If I can offer my students nothing else, I want to offer them this: you can do hard things. You are worthy of everything that is for me. ♥️

This is what joy looks like when a dream finally catches up to you. 🥹🥳
