Last week I had the opportunity to co drive for @kibbetech in the #204 @crc_construction_consulting spec truck.

I am a driver, but when the opportunity comes to get in a truck, that’s a hard thing to say no to. This experience is going to help me as a driver and team owner.

We are on the right track with our truck and it helped me as a driver seeing somebody else’s style/perspective/another way to approach obstacles.

This sport is incredibly tough, but doing everything we can to be ready for if and when we get a call.

Well… it started off calm!!!!

Our 2.5" coilover prototypes dominated the trails in Moab and were perfect everywhere else on our 1500 mile trip to get there! Now to see what they look like inside and get some more desert miles on them!

Huge thank you to @chriscalafiore and Ryan Kibbe of @kibbetech for trusting me to jump in the co-driver seat this weekend in Laughlin! 🤘🏁

I’ve spent most of my time behind the wheel, and I’ll admit, I had NO IDEA how difficult the navigator’s job really is.

We left the starting line with a solid game plan: “Eh, we’ll figure it out.” 😂

Meanwhile, I’m sitting there trying to figure out how the hell to call corners. Degrees? Number system? How do I describe a long sweeper? Do I warn him about every little thing, or just shut up and let the man drive?!

It gave me a whole new appreciation for what @ingold_motorsports does in my truck. And @5n5i5c5k5 has turned navigating into an art form.

To all the navigators out there, hats off to you. 👊 Being able to read terrain, communicate conditions, and give your driver confidence without overloading them with information or making them lift off the gas is a serious skill.

Turns out, sitting in the passenger seat doesn’t mean you’re just along for the ride.

Much respect to everyone doing that job. I learned a ton this weekend, and I’m grateful for the opportunity!

I can’t wait to see what a Kibbetech 6100 truck looks like someday. One thing I know for sure, that thing is going to be FAST. 🔥

I don’t know what you have planned next, but I have a feeling there’s going to be a whole lot more racing in your future.

My favorite part of the weekend was watching you climb into that truck and turn into a kid again. The excitement, the passion, the pure joy. That’s what this sport is all about.
