More than grand prix racing. 🌊💙

Throughout the 2026 season, the 52 SUPER SERIES family united across Lanzarote, Sardinia, and Valencia to give back to the communities that host us. From beach cleanups and youth workshops to surplus food donations supporting incredible organizations like Banco de Alimentos in Valencia and Calor y Café in Lanzarote, our commitment extends far beyond the racecourse.

A heartfelt thank you to our owners, teams, organizers, local NGOs, and the sailing schools who bring this mission to life.

Making a positive impact on and off the water in Lanzarote. 🌱 Here is our sustainability footprint from the Puerto Calero 52 SUPER SERIES Royal Cup:

🥪 1,500 sustainable event picnics
🏖️ 10 kg of waste collected during the beach clean-up

🌊⛵ Hoy hemos vivido una de las jornadas más inspiradoras de la 52 SUPER SERIES Sailing Week. @52superseries

Los jóvenes de distintos clubes de vela @rcna1854 han tenido la oportunidad de conocer de cerca la alta competición, descubrir cómo se prepara un evento de este nivel y compartir la pasión por este deporte con algunos de los mejores regatistas del mundo.

La jornada también ha puesto el foco en la sensibilización ambiental, de la mano de @kickoutplastic, promoviendo la importancia de proteger nuestros océanos y reducir el uso de plásticos para navegar hacia un futuro más sostenible.

Running a world-class championship in a pristine location like Porto Cervo demands next-level sustainability. Here is how we dialed it in this week:

🚰 Water Filtration: Cutting down 14,564 plastic bottles at the source with our high-tech eSpring filling stations.
🤖 Robotic Marks: Controlled on the water by @ba.pau , these GPS-guided marks mean fewer support chase boats, protecting the seabed from anchors and reducing overall event fuel.
☀️ Solar Powered: The Palm Beach 65 VIP Yacht utilizing top-tier solar arrays, with Captain David keeping the vessel completely off-grid with no onshore electricity needed.

Real innovation on the water, real protection for our oceans. 🌊⚓

Our commitment to sustainability and the local community is just as important as the racing. Here is the impact we made together during the Puerto Portals 52 SUPER SERIES Sailing Week:

💧 16,199 single-use plastic bottles saved
🚰 8,099 litres of purified water provided
🤝 800+ people in need fed during the event
🗑️ 17+ kg of trash collected from local beaches
🌱 43 kids participated in the workshops & cleanups

The ocean is our racecourse, and it’s our responsibility to protect it. 🌊🌍 Happy World Earth Day 2026! Today, we are incredibly proud to share our incredible results of our sustainability journey.

By working together as a community, we have achieved:
💧 160,293 liters of water filtered
🚫 320,586 plastic water bottles saved
♻️ 69.8% of waste diverted from landfills
🗑️ 1,201 kg of trash collected at beach cleanups
🍲 5,305 people fed using 2,075 kg of rescued food leftovers
🏆 Platinum Level Clean Regattas status

A massive shoutout to our incredible partners who champion these initiatives alongside us, we couldn’t reach these milestones without your support. 🤝💚

Today, I had planned to plant two trees, but on my way to the spot I had chosen, I was saddened to see so much trash all over the forest. 😢

So instead of planting, I spent the next couple of hours cleaning the area. It is heartbreaking to see this level of disrespect for nature. In just a short time, I collected 200 liters of plastic bottles and 200 liters of aluminum cans. Why do people do this?

Let's all protect nature and our forests 🌲

🌍 At the 52 SUPER SERIES, performance goes hand in hand with responsibility.

This season we cut down single-use plastics thanks to the water filtration system by eSpring, carried out beach and underwater cleanups, and supported local communities with daily food pickups for those in need. We also ran educational programs with young sailors to inspire the next generation, and once again earned the Platinum Level Clean Regattas Certification.

Racing at the top, while protecting what we love most… our oceans! 🌊💙
