The 2026 season comes to an end

First and foremost glory an thanks be to God for giving me another season without any injuries and an opportunity to even do this sport.

I can’t say this season was a bad season, but it was a season of learning. This season was tough, more mentally than physically. There were many hardships this season as there always are. Not training whole January, bad race results, personal stuff…
But at the end I have learned to love this sport more and to be more thankful for it. To realise that I am competing for myself, because I enjoy it, because of love of the process, not for results. Because results don’t define me as an athlete. I know my worth and I know how fast I am. It’s all for the love of the game.

I am currently 4th in Euro Cup total standings. I had a chance in Austria to be 3rd but I didn’t step up when I needed to. It’s also a little bit sad because I didn’t get to compete at Junior European Championship in Scotland. But at the end glory to God because everything happens for a reason.

Enormous thanks to my parents, brother and my little sister for being there for me and helping me in every way possible. Huge thanks to Tomislav Hohnjec for being our coach this year. He has already helped us a lot and I hope more in the future. Huge thanks to Veca for being there with us and helping us as much as he can, on water and mentally. He gave me back hope and reason to continue training when i lost it. Thanks to all other people who supported me this season.

Can’t wait for the next season to start, it’s gonna be special…
