出店者一覧: @zekkanma @kaito_itsuki @kico0703 @ruitoile @the_f_u_u @damio_desu @open_letter_gallery @harmasgallery_yg @parlour_harmas @tohmei_diner @ko365d @tokyoartbeat #フリマ #tokyoartbeatfleamarket #現代アート #アート

Enjoy this beautiful work by Riko Kinoshita @kico0703 Quoting the interview with the artist, “Ms. Kinoshita’s works play the role of vectors (arrow symbols) that point to the invisible world, acting as filters for extracting and observing the world, and she continues to create a series of works as “perceptual devices” using various methods, exploring how we can draw in invisible atmospheric currents and objects too large to touch.” The artist’s work can now be seen in person at Librairie Yvon Lambert @librairieyvonlambert in Paris Riko Kinoshita’s book “faint thrill” is published by @oarpress Please visit Riko Kinoshita’s instagram and website (rikokinoshita.com) to learn more. One more imaginative piece by Riko Kinoshita @kico0703 Quoting the artist, “First of all, I always struggle to find materials to use in my work (laughs). To avoid my works and exhibitions becoming repetitive, I try to use new things as much as possible, and I try things that I don’t think I can use, and then I get discouraged. I search mainly in home improvement stores, 100-yen shops, and the kitchenware section. I also look at Yuzawaya, but there are quite a few craft supplies that make me think, “What is this?”, and in the end I buy them because the shape is interesting, without knowing what I’ll use them for. It’s not uncommon for me to end up not using them at all (laughs). I don’t really like to use real materials like plants and animals. In short, the joy of creating is my top priority. This might not be the best way to put it, but I feel like I’m developing my concepts by coming up with excuses in order to create something. “ The artist’s work can now be seen in person at Librairie Yvon Lambert @librairieyvonlambert in Paris Riko Kinoshita’s book “faint thrill” is published by @oarpress Please visit Riko Kinoshita’s instagram and website (rikokinoshita.com) to learn more. Today, I am delighted to share the work of amazing artist Riko Kinoshita @kico0703 Quoting the artist, “With cyanotype works, it is possible to view the works as images, but I would also like you to look at them while imagining the production process. I think you will see them in a completely different way. The shades of blue, for example, are greatly influenced by how much sunlight they were exposed to. For example, if you work in the blazing summer sun, you can finish in about two minutes and the image becomes quite photographic. The shadows are clear and the saturation of the colors is high. Some of the lighter-colored works were made over the course of an hour under a cloudy sky, and I think you will be able to feel the flow of time and distance condensed in each work. In the future, I am thinking of putting more of the mechanism of creation into my works. The objects used in creating the artwork then come to life as three-dimensional pieces, so this approach might be an interesting experience for viewers as well.” The artist’s work can now be seen in person at Librairie Yvon Lambert @librairieyvonlambert in Paris Riko Kinoshita’s book “faint thrill” is published by @oarpress Please visit Riko Kinoshita’s instagram and website (rikokinoshita.com) to learn more.
