Kid Crème – Austin’s Groove

Before the Shawnee Taylor vocal and Erick Morillo remix came along, there was the original Austin’s Groove.

Released in 2000, this was the record that helped introduce Belgian producer Nicolas Scaravilli to the house music world as Kid Crème.

A fantastic rolling, funky house groove, Kid Crème would go on to become a familiar name alongside Junior Jack, with the pair becoming fixtures on the Ibiza and Defected circuit throughout the 2000s.

But we’re going right back to where it started.

The original 2000 pressing on Ink Records.

Straight from Vinyl Afterlife.

2002 was a different beast! 🔥

Some absolute classics from this year, including a few of my personal favourites. Over two decades later and these still go off!

What tracks did I miss? 👀

Kid Crème feat. MC Shurakano, Doing My Own Thing (Vocal Mix). 2004 год.

Международный прорыв бельгийца Кид Крема, студийного брата Junior Jack. В 2004-м эта вещь была одной из самых востребованных в клубной сцене и выходила на десятке лейблов по всему миру. На вокале MC Shurakano, а поверх упругий фильтрованный грув с тем самым дерзким крючком doing my own thing.

После этого хита Кид Крем надолго осел резидентом на Ибице. На виниле этот грув качает без устали.

Kid Crème feat. MC Shurakano, Doing My Own Thing (Vocal Mix). 2004.

The international breakthrough of Belgian Kid Crème, the studio brother of Junior Jack. In 2004 this track was one of the most in-demand records in the club scene, released on a dozen labels worldwide. MC Shurakano on vocals, over a springy filtered groove with that defiant doing my own thing hook.

After this hit, Kid Crème settled in as an Ibiza resident for years. On vinyl this groove never tires.
