Things I took away from @mode_con_

Rejection: If you don’t take the chance, the answer is a no by default. Rejection doesn’t change your reality, but a yes could change everything.

Connection: Reach out to people, even those who seem out of reach, they can be the very people that open doors you never thought possible.

Collaboration: The future is collaborative. When creativity meets collaboration, something wonderful happens. If you have an idea, bring people together and make it happen.

Dreaming: If we stop dreaming, there may be something disconnected or broken inside of us. Sometimes we need to break through the barriers holding us back to see who we’re made to be and what’s possible for our lives.

Creativity: Looks different. Everyone is creative in their own way. If anything you do requires problem-solving, you are automatically creative.

Authenticity: There’s something unique in you. Do what you’re good at, what you enjoy, and what you can start doing tomorrow.

Final words: Enjoy every moment, the highs and the lows. Nothing is certain or promised, so be grateful for the good and take heart in the not-so-good. Life is to be enjoyed, not just endured.

So what will you start tomorrow?

Prayer and arguing ❌ 🙅🏻 Prayer and fasting 🤌🏽🔥

The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.

A special chapter in my life has come to a close. 💫

15 years of calling this place home. A place where my journey began, where I experienced some of my highest highs and lowest lows, and where I found healing in ways I never expected. A place that shaped me into the woman, dancer and tutor I am today.

And perhaps one of the most special things of all, a place where my daughter found her own love for dance and got to experience so many beautiful things. To have shared a place that means so much to me with her is something I will forever be grateful for.

@itselly words will never truly express the gratitude I have for you. Thank you for creating a space that has been such a monumental part of my life and my family’s. You have given us memories, opportunities and experiences that we will carry with us forever. A piece of our story will always belong here.

Sad to say goodbye to this place, but so grateful for everything that was, and excited for whatever comes next. 🫶🏽
