Henry Manuell’s « Kid Hank and his Ockerstra » brings the vibrancy of New Orleans to life. A repertoire covering the traditional, creole, Dixieland, and swing jazz styles with just a sprinkle of ragtime. Hank and the crew create a joyful rendition of ‘NOLA’ street music.

The band's toe-tapping beats and lively melodies transport listeners to the familiar sounds of the early 20th-century French Quarter. Must admit, we’ve never stayed in Leura or the Blue Mountains, always a day trip but glad we did it.

A short 48 hours we enjoyed dinner at The Bowrey @bowerykatoomba with live music with @kidhanklive . Stargazing at Wentworth Falls Lookout with @bluemountainsstargazing

A short hike to Pool of Siloam and was rewarded with ice cream from @josophans_fine_chocolates and dinner at KBBQ @jigglebbqleura

What a long weekend should be!

I couldn't have hoped for a better way to finish off the year than to attend @woodfordfolkfestival

Here's a few pics of the people I hanged out with or met there 😍

1. @kidhanklive and his crew, this is the 2nd time I'm heading to a festival as part of their crew as a roadie and documenting their shows 🪕 They're truly a pleasure to work with and real fun hangs

2. On the 1st day of WFF, I went to put my name on a hat for the band competition and was randomly paired with @iamunco 🎷@janeweimusic 🎻 Reuben 🥁 and Alex 🎸 What a blessing, they are all amazing musicians with great personality and vibes. We had just 2 days to write a song and ended up making it all the way to the finals and winning the competion😵

3. Nessie's Besties with the band comp judges 🍾

4. It was such a treat to get to meet @msaki_za and her crew Gontse Gally Lungi and Lorenzo. Not only her storytelling is moving, the music is fantastic but they are a great bunch of people and super fun to hangout with.

5. Top humans make top music

6. @jamesgrandison before we met the bush wizard
7. @henrybenry92 and Pat on NYE🕺💃
8. A few hour later with @libbygardiner

9. @nickelliottpimm came all the way to QLD for the hangs 😍

10. @henrybenry92 and @denimdanny89 silly geese

11. Getting all my steps done with no time to rest

12. Why did I get so many of these on the first day???

13. Happy New Year!!
