🇨🇴Kid Josh

He is a young Colombian artist from Cartagena.

His music is raw and alive. The productions, often made with Reslow, Ftres, Prod Raw, daikinho and others from the scene, are hard-hitting and modern, with heavy 808s, fast hi-hats and simple yet effective melodies. It’s street trap, with a sense of tension and arrogance. He focuses on efficiency. A flow that hits hard and punchlines that stick.

He doesn’t present himself as some vague urban artist or a « latino singer. » He claims to be Kid Trapper. The trappers’ kid. The one who comes in hungry, with the flow to make his mark in an already competitive scene.

The titles speak for themselves. Voy Amanecer, Gatita Bratz, Los Opps, Sin Permiso, CHICA GOOD, TUTTI FRUTTI... We’re clearly in lifestyle territory. This isn’t social poetry. It’s young, direct trap.

What makes him stand out is the context he’s coming up in. Cartagena has never been the center of Colombian trap. For a long time, the city was more associated with other sounds. But lately, there’s a new wave of artists and producers kicking the doors down.

He’s the type of artist who, from the very first sounds, gives you the feeling he’s building something precise, with real intention. A young guy from Cartagena who went all in on trap without hesitation.
