POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Lately, something has shifted.

A few days ago, a mom friend in our group chat asked, “What if we signed up for a HYROX competition?”

It wasn’t really about the competition.

It was about saying yes to something that would get us out of our comfort zones, keep us showing up, and remind us that we’re capable of more than we think.

As moms, that isn’t always easy.

Some days we’re squeezing in a workout while the kids are playing in the pool. Some days we’re tired. But every time we choose to show up, we’re choosing ourselves too.

After today’s workout, I started making my post-workout shake. Before I knew it, Ellis wanted to make himself a drink with electrolytes. Kalani started doing exercises because he wanted to be “strong like Mom.”

And it reminded me of something I’ve believed since becoming a mom…

Our kids are always watching‼️‼️

Not because they’re counting our workouts, but because they’re learning what becomes normal.

They’re learning that taking care of yourself isn’t selfish.

That movement is part of life. That strength matters. That taking care of your health is simply what you do.

The greatest thing we’re building isn’t just a stronger body. We’re showing our children what a healthy life looks like. We’re building the habits, values, and example our children will carry long after they’ve left home.

And maybe that’s what this season has been teaching me too.

Motherhood changes. Life changes.
Seasons change. And we’re meant to grow with them.

Not because who we were wasn’t enough… But because every season invites us to become who we’re meant to be.

This season looks like choosing consistency. Surrounding myself with women who inspire me. Stepping outside my comfort zone. And living in a way that inspires my boys—and every child, teen, and family I’m fortunate to work with—to keep growing, take care of their health, and build a life they love.

I’m excited for this next chapter. ❤️

The words we speak to our children matter. When we encourage them, believe in them and speak life over them, we help build confidence from the inside out. I want them to hear my voice louder than their own doubts and it’s what I wish someone would’ve done for me as a child. 🤍 reminding my babies they are strong, capable, fierce and powerful and most of all loved. Not just for today’s race, but for their entire life.

Proud of both of my little athletes today.

2026 Believe & Achieve 5K 🏃‍♂️

Not every mile was easy.
Kalani hit a wall at mile 2… but quitting wasn’t an option. He kept going.

Ellis pushed hard, led the way and finished strong.

They both crossed that finish line — stronger than when they started.

Ellis🥈Place - 37:09, 11:45 pace, 7yo
Kalani🥉Place - 37:53, 12:00 pace, 5yo
Male 9 & Under

But more than the medals…
this was about showing up, pushing through, finishing what they started and believing they can do hard things.

Medals are earned. Never given. 💪
Proud is an understatement. 💙
Believe. Achieve. Repeat. 🫶🏽

Medals Earned! These boys are fierce & relentless. They earned their run club medals during our Spartan Winter Season.
2.24 miles ran 🏃🏽‍♂️ & 4 stations to complete - Bench Jumpovers, Burpees, Bear Crawls in sand & Sandbag drags.
•
Kalani was the only one at 5yo to do 2.24mi. And he placed 4th out of kids 6-8yo that ran the same distance. He’s a determined kid and I couldn’t be more proud of him.
•
Ellis is meant for shorter distances but he never gave up. His leg was starting to hurt but he kept going. He kept his mindset positive and he came in 6th out of the 14 runners who also did the same distance. Proud of my little monkey for not quitting.
•
Not only are these boys getting stronger and faster after each season but their confidence grows! They build deeper relationships with their run club friends, they’re building a growth mindset and their confidence keeps growing. They are constantly being reminded that anything is possible and they can do hard things. This flows into school, daily life and their other sports. And it shows. Truly grateful these boys listen to me when I coach them season after season 😜

“Where mindset meets movement”

We are a run club program that
is more than just physical activity; it’s about cultivating resilience, growth, and whole-person development

The Growth Lab is a youth development program for ages 10–14 that blends physical activity, running, agility and strength training, and a growth mindset approach to help young athletes build strength, confidence, and character. Through teamwork and challenge, we teach kids to embrace effort, rise from setbacks, and celebrate progress in every form.

It all started with Kid PWR Run Club @kidpwr.tc, our core program. As we continue to grow & our members get older, so does our programs.

The Hunter family crushed the Palm Beaches Spartan Race this past weekend with our KID PWR RUN CLUB team @kidpwr.tc. It felt so good running again after years of coaching in CA. Brought back so many great memories with my 24Advntr team & friends of all the races we did together on the west coast. I nailed all the obstacles except the spear throw 🤦🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️. Just a little too far to the right but it’s ok. 30 burpees ✅. Climbing walls and going up cargo nets like Speedy Gonzales is my jam 😂.
It was Lee’s first Spartan Race. It was so great to have raced together & watching him crush the obstacles. Thank you to run club friends Emily & Brett who watched the boys for us while we ran the race. Making sure we came back in time to run with the boys in their race was a motivating factor to get moving. So proud of all my kids including my hubby who ran and earned their medal. So well deserved. A fun afternoon well spent climbing ropes, jumping over walls, carrying buckets & atlas balls, dragging metal plates, climbing cargo nets, running thru water, hoisting sand bags & hanging with good people.

The team is running the next Spartan Race in Orlando in the Fall. Wanna join us?? Stay connected with @kidpwr.tc on our next Spartan season so you can train with us. Kids & adults 😃🤙🏽.

School fun run and this kid came in Top Earner for his class. He set a very aggressive fundraising goal & although he fell short, he came out on top as the Top Earner for his class and overall #3 of 280 students. He got a pretty cool tshirt he wore that represented his class. He set a minimum of 3+ laps for the run and he crushed it doing over 10 laps of walking, skipping, walking backwards & running. He didn’t want to dance with his classmates around the field when they said DANCE 🕺🏼 😂, even though he loves to dance.
•
We talk about aggressive goals in run club and I’m so proud to see that the powerful life lessons talked about in class is getting thru to him. The lessons aren’t just for run club or sports but in everyday life. So proud of Ellis!!!
•
Much mahalos to Ellis’ friends & family who donated.

Super proud of my boys!!! I can’t keep track of how many seasons these boys have done but KID PWR RUN CLUB Winter Season 2025, Ellis & Kalani both ran 1.60miles & did 20 burpees to finish off their medal challenge. Ellis finished first and Kalani finished 2nd in the 4-6yo age group. I couldn’t be more proud. They ran hard & they ran strong. 💪🏽 And they crushed knocking out 20 burpees right after. So proud of all the kids that ran. Medals earned, never given. 👏👏👏👏

Another great Spartan Race for the Hunter boys this past weekend. Ellis’ 4th race & Kalani’s 2nd. These boys love getting dirty, climbing walls & cargo nets. And they love racing these Kids Spartan Races with their friends. I could not be more proud of my little athletes.
•
We look forward to our next race in March when the entire Hunter family races together. Who wants to join us?
