Last week, our 12th-grade students participated in Senior Conference on Wednesday, September 9. Our counselors, Higher Education Center (HEC) staff, and college representatives had a wonderful time connecting with our students and providing them with valuable information and strategies to help them begin and successfully complete their college applications.

Most students participated in three workshops:

Jags Reach Higher
This workshop focused on career education, the college transfer process, and the information students need to begin their college application(s).

Meet Your College Representative
Students met with a representative from Santa Ana College, Orange Coast College, Irvine Valley College, California State University, or the University of California. Representatives provided information about the application process, deadlines, and other important details to help students submit a strong application.

Xello: The Real Game
Students were introduced to financial literacy and learned the importance of planning for their future by connecting career choices to real-world expenses and financial responsibilities.

Students also had the opportunity to participate in a College & Career Fair during lunch, where more than 20 organizations—including military representatives, local colleges & universities, and community-based organizations—were available to answer questions and share information about opportunities after high school. Thank you all for joining us! #JagsReachHigher 🐆🐾

Ending the summer in this heat wave at the Building Block Foundation’s White Party! ☀️

For the third year, KZ Companies was proud to serve as a Parking Sponsor for the annual event at Newport Dunes.

This event supports several local organizations, including @kidworks, an organization KZ Companies has been proud to support and stay involved with over the years.

Thank you to Bob O’Neill at @caprock_partners for inviting us to sponsor again this year, and to the @buildingblockfoundation for bringing the commercial real estate community together for a great evening and a great cause.
