Hide once again smashing it for award nominations in the festival circuit!

Obviously goes without saying, but Hide wouldn’t have been the success it has been without the hard work and dedication of our incredible cast and crew.

To my family & friends, coaches, the organisers & judges, other athletes and everyone involved in making it such an incredible day — thank you. None of this would be possible without your support and encouragement.

I’ve been completely overwhelmed by the kindness and support from everyone. One of the things I love most about this sport is that we genuinely want to see each other succeed. Simply stepping on stage is a victory in itself, so days like this are a bonus to be enjoyed.

I’m still struggling to sit still from the excitement, and I’m honestly blown away by all the messages and love I’ve received.

Yesterday was one I’ll never forget…
Winning my class, the Overall & being crowned Miss Britain, and then the pro show 🇬🇧🤯❤️

Forever grateful to everyone who has been part of this journey. These moments are shared with all of you. ✨

Thank you so much @bournemouthfilmfest for honouring @hide_shortfilm with The Jury Award last night along with five other awards including Best UK Film and Best Performance for our amazing Niamh Blackshaw.

Niamh, @lisadavinaphillip and all our cast and young cast (some of which debuted as actors on Hide) are the beating heart of the film and we’re so pleased that Niamh’s amazing performance as ‘Abi’ has been recognised.

Thanks to festival director Steve McCarten (@stevemccarten_official )and all the BIFF team for making us so welcome and for bringing together a terrific and diverse mix of talented film makers to celebrate UK and world cinema.

Also thanks for coaxing out the sunshine on Sunday morning to provide a fantastic Bournemouth background to display and celebrate all our proudly accepted awards.

Although we have been posting about it since it happened…. We’re delighted to announce that Hide won the Main Award and Festival Trophy at the Liverpool Indie Awards last Saturday! @liverpool_indie_festival ⭐️ 🏆

The festival had over 3000 entries, and Hide was picked not only to screen alongside a few other selected films on the day, but scooped up the main prize! Our young cast were also with us to celebrate, alongside some of our brilliant crew.

Thank you so much @liverpool_indie_festival for your hospitality and for being so welcoming! Till next time!
