POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

When I direct things I never get to take regular phone pics never mind obnoxiously hipster-y instant film photos… so when I produce I make it a point to do so at least a little bit as I’m only SLIGHTLY less manically busy.

These are a few set stills of Will and James Freda (who don’t have Instagram) a few weeks ago and crewed with all of my very talented (and patient) friends. I shot these on my @fujifilm_instax_northamerica Wide (like the mini but twice the sice) from the ‘90’s when @fujifilmx_us tried to compete with #polaroid in the instant film game… it did not go well for them… but early adopters ended up laughing in the end because…

What am I talking about… no one gives a s#!% about the short lived war over the instant film market in the ‘90’s (Kodak briefly trotted one out as well that’s now COMPLETELY useless because…)

point is, maybe an Econ major’d find this interesting but for now, here are some fun quirky #BTS photos I, and @vgrape12, took of the crew in action.

Research the History of #instantfilm cameras at your leisure if you’re interested…

That is all…

Thank you everyone for participating in this farce that is Dan’s Instagram account… your “likes” and whatnot are greatly appreciated (and more so the handful of you that actually READ my insane ramblings! As an experiment let’s try this; write the word “bodacious” in the comment bar just so I can see who all actually reads these (to better judge if it’s worth the effort (all be it minuscule) to continue to write them))

Ok… now goodnight! I mean it this time. ;)

Doing the damn thang.

There must have been a John Woo movie shot in Maine once because we found a concentration of wild white doves just hanging out… that or a magician’s convention…
