It took me a long time to feel comfortable being filmed while dancing. For almost two years, I avoided it because I was too focused on mistakes, how I might look and the uncomfortable feeling of being seen.

Dancing with artists can bring some of that pressure back — people watching, the camera on, one chance to enjoy the moment.

What changed most for me is my mindset. I care less about being judged and more about actually feeling the dance.

Thank you @kike.utrera for such a smooth and beautiful dance. I really enjoyed the connection and the feeling of this one. 🤍

How beautiful it is to dance again to songs that take us straight back to our beginnings. ❤️🎶 “Million Reasons” by Lady Gaga, with the music of DJ Tronky, brought back so many memories, emotions, and special moments from our journey together. ✨

A huge thank you to everyone who was there for your amazing energy, love, and support in every dance. 🫶 And a special thank you to BCN Dance Congress for making us feel at home and giving us another unforgettable experience.

Sometimes a song is more than just a song… it’s a memory, a chapter, and a part of our story. ❤️

Ohhh this is one of my favourite songs of all times and I had so much fun dancing it with @kike.utrera ! 👀

For me, this felt like a breath of fresh air. After the first weekend abroad as a professional dancer, a whole weekend spent performing, I finally had the chance to enjoy some basics, some caderas, some simple yet incredibly beautiful steps. 🤍

I’m not usually a huge fan of videos during socials, because whenever I’m dancing, relaxing and having fun, the moment I see a camera, somehow my brain decides to forget everything I’ve ever known about Bachata. 🤣

But I’m actually so happy someone captured this moment.

Because little Gaia would have never believed that, in her 20s, she’d be in Prague, dancing with such amazing artists, to some of her favourite songs — and, most importantly, feeling more joy than anxiety.

Maybe that’s what I’m most proud of. Not the steps, not the videos, not who I was dancing with.

Just being there, fully present, and genuinely enjoying it. ❤️
Thank you Prague and thank you @kike.utrera

Hope to see you soon ❤️
