Cricket and I had a fantastic weekend competing at the inaugural Interscholastic Eventing (IEL) Championships riding for the Area II Developing Young Riders at Stableview in Aiken, South Carolina. We placed third, out of twelve in the team challenge. Individually, Cricket and I placed fifth out of fourteen in our Novice division with just .8 in cross country time penalties added to our dressage score.

Beautiful day to get the Flying Scot on the water. Sailing came back to me very quickly. Nice to have a #ussailing instructor for a dad. Thanks Dad! Thank you NYCC for your #fishingbayyachtclub reciprocity!

Even though IEL champs was over a week ago, we’re still reliving the memories✨ There was nothing but smiles and good times according to our own council members and other riders from the Area II Developing Riders IEL team! We enjoyed talking to everyone about their time at this incredible event and getting a glimpse of what the team experience entails 🙌 We definitely know we’ll be back next year, will you? 👀
