Spring Concert 2026: Evolve

Definition of a back workout. In all seriousness, I enjoy both the process of rehearsal/fun moments, and performing this.

Not my latest, but recent work: ✨survival in syncopation (2025)✨

a work dedicated to the rhythm of labor which is relentless and often invisible. this work explored the heartbeat of women’s work- both seen and unseen; those fragmented, offbeat cadences of daily survival, emotional labor, cultural taxation, and quiet strength.

This was one of the best experiences ever!! With this being my first time attending @acda_dance @acda_central , it was very memorable. I'm glad I got the opportunity to take different classes, meet new people, and perform!!!

Thank you Parisha for creating such a beautiful work of art. It has been one of my favorite pieces performing and it will never be forgotten.

Shout-out to Suaniya's heels piece!! It made its way from ISU dance studio to ACDA informal concert. I loved seeing how it came along. Know that I will be putting those heels back on🤭

OVERALLL I'm just so thankfull, this was such a life changing experience💜✨️

still processing how absolutely amazing @acda_dance was this weekend! I’ve met so many people, learned so much, watched incredible performances, and danced with some of my closest friends ever.

I wouldn’t have been able to do this without @danceatillinoisstate and the amazing faculty. I cannot thank you enough to allow me to perform and also share my work as well!

First @acda_dance @acda_central 💙 I can say that i enjoyed myself and met so many wonderful people. And the dances? UGH BEAUTIFUL.

I am grateful for the experience to not only perform that piece one last time but to also for the exposure that I gained. Thank you to the @wiuudc and @danceassociation for the work put into hosting this experience. Can’t wait to see what the future has in store.

@acda_central @acda_dance A TIME WAS HAD!!

These last few days have been beautiful. Getting to share in the art form that I love with other incredibly talented individuals! And closing out the gala concert was the cherry on top!!

To all the amazing people that I’ve met, it was an honor to share in our craft. To my fellow @danceatillinoisstate people, thank you for laughing, crying, and being exhausted with me. To the conference coordinators, your tireless work does not go unnoticed.

These past few days were so beautiful, let’s run it back next year!
