Week 40/52

Last week, my post had to do with the mundane. The day-to-day life that we sometimes take for granted that we really need to be thankful for because there is so much beauty in the every day.

This week, at Grace Senior night, one of the senior girls said “what I would give for just another ordinary day”. What a wise statement. Then this morning at church, our pastor left us with a challenge of “go worship this week”. This came from Ephesians chapter 1 discussing every thing that we do is in and through Christ. The mundane, the ordinary, it is all in and through Christ.

The challenge for myself this week is to worship and view the ordinary as extraordinary because the days that we have and the people that we get to do life with are amazing gifts through Christ.
