What an incredible experience at my first AASP Annual Conference in Minneapolis! 💛

Although my time at the conference was a little shorter than planned (thanks to a half marathon on Saturday 🏃‍♀️), I am leaving feeling incredibly grateful for the experience, new connections, and everything I learned!

A few highlights included attending sessions on understanding and navigating anger in performance settings, exploring athletic identity and the transition out of professional sports, connecting with professors in person, learning more about tactical performance, meeting graduate students from other programs, and learning from so many incredible professionals in the field.

One of the best parts was getting to share this experience with my amazing cohort!

A huge thank you to Dr. Alison Pope-Rhodius for making opportunities like this possible. Can’t wait for next year!💙💙

13.1 miles, a little Oregon rain, and a whole lot of “Who’s Your Agent?” 😎🏃‍♂️🌧️

What a morning at the Cherry City Half Marathon! So much fun seeing friends all over the course getting after it, chasing goals, and crossing that finish line.

We spotted a few runners repping the Who’s Your Agent? shirts 👀 (and yes… if you want one, message me!), handed out plenty of sweat towels and wristbands, and cheered on as many runners as we could.

Even Nora got in on the action and was VERY proud of her kids race medal. 🏅❤️

Huge shoutout to Alex and Kelsey for putting together such a great race. Coordinating an event like this takes a ton of work, and they absolutely crushed it.

And in true Oregon fashion, the rain mostly behaved… but still made sure everyone got at least a little complimentary sprinkle. 😂🌧️

Congrats to everyone who raced, volunteered, cheered, or just showed up to support. Days like this are why we love being part of the Salem community.

Now… who needs a Who’s Your Agent? shirt for the next race? 👀
