What a night :) This reoccurring nugget show has become something really special to me but this one felt weirdly important. The bait and switch social media has pulled on so many creatives has left us feeling pretty uninspired. Maybe it’s just me but I know it’s not. If you know who I am only through this platform it’s most likely because I’ve been involved in the Nintendo collecting community, the toy community, and the art community on here in a pretty passionate way. Building and maintaining something like that on here feels almost impossible now with the way social media and content in general has changed. It can really make you feel like the literal community is gone.

Getting together with a bunch of friends in a physical location to look at and show off all the weird stuff you made instantly makes you realize that’s not so. Hitting up an event as absurd as a chicken nugget themed art show immediately puts you in contact with like minded people. Fun people. I really really want to encourage other people to put together their own group shows. I understand why they matter so much now.

Huge thanks to @toydejour for giving us the space to do this as well as doing all the real work. Huge thanks to everyone who supports art. Ily

OFRENDA🕯️

For those who leave us but are never truly gone— we build our altars to remember them and guide them back home.

Inspired by the vibrant tradition of Día de los Muertos, Ofrenda celebrates the eternal bond between the living and the dead—a tribute to the memories and lives lived by the loved ones we carry in our hearts.

With tasting notes of waffle cone, dried fruit, and orange zest every cup carrying warmth and comfort, available at all DMC shops.

For memories that live on; una ofrenda de nuestro amor eterno.

We have a mural!! And by “we” I mean my name is on something I had nothing to do with. @killabunzz painted this on the side of @toydejour to promote Nuggets only 3 and I am SO stoked on it. Great work!

We’re about 2 weeks away so clear your schedule and get your plane tickets if you’re not already in Chicago because this one’s gonna be wild.

I guess it’s officially happening now that THERE’S A GIANT MURAL ON THE SIDE OF OUR BUILDING!!! 🤩

Huge thanks to @killabunzz for the new amazing mural and always over-extending himself despite everyone around him telling him to learn how to say no to things. 😄🙌

Hire him to art stuff for you. He’s ridiculously talented. And handsome. Maybe just hire him because he’s handsome and it’s nice just to have him around.

Come see this in person anytime between now and opening night, Friday the 17th at 7pm!

Come get you some nogges!
‘Nuggets Only 3’ brought to you in part by @dano_brown in coordination with the Greater Chicago Area Nugget Association. Do not come to Nuggets Only 3 if you’re allergic to Nuggets Only 3. Some Nuggets Only 3 users experienced sudden euphoria and weight loss. See a doctor if Nuggets Only persists.
Some purchases necessary.
Void where prohibited.
