Me and killer Producer @leecomanche at the @silicon_beach_film_festival at TCML Chinese theater yesterday for a showing of the feature we worked on, Kill City: Dead on the Money. Lotsa good cooks behind the scenes on this one including @eshosound, Peter Mavromates from #DavidFincher's team...oh, and some guy I know who did the music and also wears hats.

What. A. Day.

Big love and mad respect to my brother @directorrbj Robert Benavides Jr.—writer, director, and the creative force behind Kill City: Dead on the Money—for bringing home the IFS Best Action Film 2025 award! 🏆🎬📽
Straight up: Dead on the money! Vision, execution, and raw talent on full display.

It was an honor to walk the IFS red carpet 🔴, catch the premiere screening, and sit in on the live Q&A with the man himself—surrounded by actors, writers, filmmakers, and legends like Lou Ferrigno (yes, The Incredible Hulk in the flesh)💪🟢

Even more special to share this moment with Robert’s parents, Lee Comanche, and the entire Kill City cast. Blessed to have played a small role in this powerful story as a biker—every frame of this film hit hard and hit right.

Next up: Kill City: The Rise of Justice
And yes… yours truly is back. Stay tuned.

I’m beyond excited to share that my friend Robert Benavides Jr — writer, director, and creative force — has officially won Best Action Film at the Los Angeles IFS Film Festival for his first feature film, Kill City: Dead on the Money! 🏆

I had the honor of playing a small part in this project, and to see it come to life on the big screen is something I’ll never forget.

This is just the beginning. Kill City is more than a film — it’s the start of something much bigger. With industry professionals paying attention and the red carpet screening happening next Saturday, the momentum is real. Robert’s future is wide open, and the next project is already in pre-production. More to come. Stay tuned…
this ride is just getting started! 🎬📽🎞🎞🎞

KILL CITY: Dead on the Money - A film inspired by the gritty storytelling of Pulp Fiction, the stylized mayhem of Sin City, and the razor-sharp character work of Reservoir Dogs and Jackie Brown.

The film delivers a high-octane mix of violence, wit, and cinematic swagger.
