Dark wood panelling, tall windows, candlelight, white florals and our Mahon Chairs lining the aisle for Shona & Aaron’s ceremony at @gilmertonhouse 🕊️ The chairs worked so beautifully in this setting. The rattan backs brought a little natural texture against all that rich wood, while the soft tones kept the whole ceremony space feeling warm, elegant and inviting. And those reserved seat tags were such a lovely detail. Simple, personal and exactly the sort of thing guests notice when they take their seat. A beautiful ceremony set-up and full of atmosphere... use this as your opportunity to be inspired 💭 www.virginiasfurniturehire.co.uk Shona & Aaron’s Suppliers: Venue @gilmertonhouse Wedding Coordinator & Stylist @studioporter Florals @aspenfloralsweddings Photography @meggymacphotography Videography @francesmcmahonweddings Celebrant @tasha.the.celebrant Hair Bau Hair MUA @keeleywilsonmakeup Cake @wrencakedesign Bagpipes Roddy the Piper Live Band @killercitysound Stationery @holdstudiolondon Catering @edinburghcateringco Furniture @virginiasfurniturehire featuring our Mahon Chairs #weddingceremonystyling #weddingceremonydetailing #gilmertonhouse #gilmertonhousewedding #weddingfurniturehire

If a wedding celebration runs over four days then it's bound to be mega, right?! Well that was certainly the case for Ben & George's wonderful wedding! 🎉 We catered on site for four brilliant days to celebrate this fantastic couple, from the big day to a super post wedding BBQ. THE MCGILLS🩵 Where do I even start with this one… My first time at @carlowrie_castle and what a venue for one seriously iconic wedding. Lucy you were everything✨ A gorgeous outdoor ceremony, the prettiest colour palette, cocktails flowing, the best atmosphere from start to finish, emotional speeches and a wedding party that brought the energy all day long! Lucy & Cammy were up for absolutely anything, which always makes for the best photos. Just look at them. The happiness and the way they look at each other says it all. 🥹 One of those days where everything just came together perfectly and I feel SO lucky I got to capture it all. 🤍 ~ @christiejohnstonphoto @carlowrie_castle @stephnicol.photo @oliveandthistleweddingfilms @alexandriamcnairn @rosheenwarnockbridalhair @ambrienemakeupartistry @killercitysound @vickys__flowers @ginathecelebrant @lew.kaye @sophsviolin @eleganzasposa @suzanneneville @slatermenswear @liggyscakes @2fluxstationerystudio @karen_rotchford_bridal_alts ~ SCOTTISH WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER | CARLOWRIE CASTLE WEDDING | EDINBURGH WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

“We don’t want a hotel.” Macarena & John were dreaming of something with character. Something that felt like Edinburgh. Somewhere their guests could relax, connect, and breathe across the weekend. So we explored. Unique venues. Quuicky restuarants. Historic spaces. And then… we added one more to the list.. 5* Virgin Hotel. Not because it was obvious - but because we knew something they didn’t yet. This isn’t a typical hotel. Hidden within it is Greyfriars Hall - a restored church hall with soaring ceilings, rich texture, and a completely different energy to anything you’d expect. Relaxed. Vibrant. Full of personality. The kind of place that feels alive the moment you step in. They walked in… and everything shifted. Not only did they choose it for their reception - they brought their entire guestlist to stay and experience. Because the right venue isn’t about categories. It’s about how a space makes you feel. And sometimes, the best decisions come from keeping an open mind - with the right guidance and expertise right by your side. — 💬 DM “EXPLORE” and I’ll share venues you might not have considered - but absolutely should. @virginhotelsedi @lewisnicolweddingfilms @paulandrewsweddings @flowersbyfionahay @ochrebotanicalstudios @yishicake @citychambersevents @killercitysound @nauticusbar @theweddingenergyedit @theoriginalredbus @hollysharpe_drawings @dean.saunderspiper @dressedbysundayrose @coachhireedinburgh @bighotsandwiches
