Thanks to Killing It Ent. for this recap of our Pre-Maiden show at Craftworx. 🤘

From Eddie's Dive Bar, Rod Smallwood's appearance, the VIP experience, meeting so many people, and of course seeing the legends themselves to finish off the day, it was truly an unforgettable experience!

“Dissent Into Madness is a song written from sitting in a basement during The Pandemic watching the world tear itself apart in real-time from a phone screen, and feeling unbelievably alone and hopeless while ruminating if we’ll collectively be able to meet the moment for any sort of future. The jury’s still out but at least we still get to frantically shred about it.”

They Chose to Fly, Where Eagles Dare 🎼🎸

One of Dave Murray’s whackiest guitar solos, full of screaming harmonics and dramatic whammy bar dive bombs. Not to mention that signature Murray whirlwind of legato trills. The solo itself isn’t too difficult to learn but it’s tricky coming out of it right into the dual-guitar harmonized bridge section. That’s the thing about playing Iron Maiden’s music live. If one of the guitars is even slightly off during those iconic harmonized guitar riffs, it is very noticeable. Keeps us on our toes! 🤘🏼

I am surrounded by love. Still trying to catch up from birthday and continued tour festivities, but suffice it to say the show at the magical @chapelofbonesraleigh was one for the ages! The @pathogenicmetal and @aversedmetal Crüe are truly special people and these fuckers made me ugly-cry with the love they showered me with. I am so lucky and grateful to still be playing Rock n Roll and to be doing it with the caliber of people that I’m able to do it with, here’s to another lap around the Sun and countless more great shows and great hangs!!

See you at a show!!🤘🏼🥁🤘🏼

Pics or it didn’t happen! This was such a special day. Iron Maiden’s music played a huge roll in my childhood and musical development. It was great to be surrounded by people who felt the same and to celebrate the legacy of Maiden together. If you told me as a kid that one day Iron Maiden’s manager would be in a crowd of people watching me play I’d have said “keep talking buddy, Im still not giving you my lunch money”. But hey, I guess sometimes crazy things happen! I joined Eyes of the Nile just over a year and a half ago and it’s been quite the rollercoaster which I’m grateful to be a part of. I don’t know what’s next but I can’t wait to find out!

Cheers
