They say anything can happen in a New York Minute. Imagine what you can accomplish in a day.

My people, I'd like to introduce my next project, an organic, spontaneous documentary of the incredible things I see during my adventures in New York City.

Currently, I am a student at @saeinstituteusa, where my classmates and I share the goal of becoming professional audio engineers, beatmakers, artists, etc, so I'm constantly surrounded by talent and people with potential.

I was heading out to lunch as usual with my peers @1blakkeyz, @stormdarula, @iampatgonz amongst others. We soon ran into some other fellow classmates, @monkey_d.shay, @jack.vayo, @killkdeaux, and @theonlynotion_, who were kickin a freestyle rap on the classic NY State of Mind instrumental by @nas & @djpremier . Inspiration at its fullest.

I am also an aspiring freelance videographer and photographer, so naturally, I decided to start shooting. The footage was fire.

Little did I know, I had another surprise in store for me later that day...

During my commute, I go through some of the most famous landmarks in the world, such as Grand Central Terminal & Times Square Subway station. That is where I heard the beautiful sound of @marleysings voice, and was inspired to start recording again. She was just beginning to sing "Sure Thing" by @miguel, one of my personal favorites, and if I wanted to capture the footage, I had to be quick. So I did just that.

The energy was incredible, so much so that it brought tears to my eyes.

After @marleysings performance, I decided to continue on my commute until I realized that there was another performer coming up next. So I doubled back and prepared my gear to continue shooting video. I was able to capture the amazing artistic interpretations of @eyeglasses.stringmusic. The results were nothing short of breathtaking.

Now, we may not realize this as native New Yorkers, but there are people that fly halfway across the world and back just to experience the concrete jungle, city where dreams are made of. They say, if you can make it here, you can make it anywhere.

I see it with my own eyes every day, and now you can, too.

Welcome to:

"A Day in New York City."
