13 Hispanic and Latino space creators worth a follow, to close out Hispanic Heritage Month.

Engineers who worked on Artemis, Webb and Perseverance, plus the communicators who explain it in Spanish and English:

At first, it’s CHAOS!

No familiar up or down. Even the simplest movements suddenly feel unfamiliar.
What works on Earth? Not necessarily up there.

But here’s what surprised me…

Once I stopped trying to move the way I do on Earth, things began to change.

I experimented. I adapted. Little by little, I learned to move differently.

The chaos didn’t disappear. I just learned how to navigate it. 💛

Isn’t that a little like life?
We can’t always control the conditions, but we can learn how to move within them.

Speaking of learning…
A HUGE thank you to @space_mog, @modernday_eratosthenes, @tracedominguez, and @feistystance for sharing your time and expertise to help us grow as science communicators.

Special shoutout to @space_mog for helping me develop the hook for this reel.

We’re not done learning.
Looking forward to our upcoming mentorship sessions with @hiphopscienceshow and @salamabualhayjaa.

Gracias , @spaceforhumanity and @airzerog, for this extraordinary opportunity, and to my fellow Zero-G cohort members who shared every wonderfully chaotic moment! 🫶

Have you ever had to rethink everything you thought you knew about how to do something?

From random airport hellos to floating in zero-G and celebrating in full color. 🚀✨

Swipe to see how flight suits look with heels... because why not? 👠🛸

Which slide is your favorite energy? (Mine is definitely 3 😂)

Turns out zero gravity does not come with a tutorial. 😅

Landed the backflip. Did NOT land the "sit on the ceiling with @astro_jfclervoy " attempt, but 10/10 would embarrass myself in front of a Zero-G legend again.

This is what learning to float actually looks like. 🚀

Have the audacity to chase your dreams.

This trip still doesn’t feel real.

France. Zero gravity. Meeting people doing incredible things in space and beyond. Sitting down with an astronaut and talking about a dream I’ve carried for years.

There were so many moments on this trip that reminded me why I started chasing this in the first place.

I have no idea where all of this leads… but I know I’m not done chasing it.

Sometimes you just have to be crazy enough to believe you can.

Ad Astra Per Aspera. ✨

Whoever floats with astronauts is an astronaut. I'm still trying to believe that includes me.

I'm Susan, a geospatial technologist from Nairobi who fell in love with space by looking down at a map, long before I ever looked up at the stars. A few days ago, I had the flight experience of a lifetime with Space for Humanity - a parabolic Zero-G flight, floating through Martian gravity, Lunar gravity, and true weightlessness, 15 times over.

Thank you, @spacehumanity, for an experience I'll spend a long time trying to fully put into words.

Science isn't complete until it's communicated. Consider this me, getting started. 🇰🇪✨
