10 girls took to the skies from Moton Field, the historic airfield where the Tuskegee Airmen first trained and made history✈️

Standing on the same grounds where black aviators once learned to fly, these young girls were given the opportunity to experience the freedom, excitement, and possibility that comes with aviation.

The legacy of the Tuskegee Airmen reminds us that sometimes the greatest gift we can give the next generation is simply the opportunity to believe that they belong in spaces they may have never imagined themselves🤎✨

A huge thank you to every volunteer who came out to support this incredible event and helped make this experience possible! 🫶🏽

Special thank you to @legacyflightacademy for hosting this meaningful event, and a shoutout to @prettypinkpilots, the program manager, for helping bring the vision to life🩷✈️

Because when we give a young girl the opportunity to fly, we may be giving her so much more than a flight, we may be giving her a new dream that soon turns to reality🌟
