Can I get two thumbs up for Fall in Bend?

And while the days are still warm and golden here, we can feel that crisp autumn air moving in.

Here’s why Fall in Bend is the best:

* golden cottonwoods and aspens along the Deschutes River
* peaceful trails through Shevlin Park
* cozy dinners with views of Mirror Pond at Sen Thai
* scenic walks along the Deschutes River Trail
* drives to take in the fall colors around Drake Park
* the Downtown farmers market winding down for the season

By the way, I created a Local Bend guide that’ll give you a great taste of Bend.

Just comment LOCAL and I’ll send it to you.

Once you get used to Bend… good luck. Nothing else will compare.
Things that Bend has absolutely ruined for me because nothing else will ever be as great:

01. Coffee from Watershed in Downtown, Bend (formerly Looney Bean) has absolutely ruined me. Sitting on the back lawn with views of Mirror Pond. Nothing else compares.

02. Weekend walks along Shevlin Park or Drake Park in Bend. Every other stroll feels like a downgrade.

03. Sunsets over the River in Bend, Oregon. I notice the difference everywhere else now.

04. What “close to downtown” actually means in Bend versus other places.

05. Running errands in Old Bend where everything is five minutes away.

06. Homes with character in Bend, Oregon, from Old Bend to Awbrey Butte to NorthWest Crossing. My standards are permanently altered.

07. Access to unlimited outdoors, River Floats, Phils Trail, Tumalo Falls, Mount Bachelor, Old Mill River Trail, Drake Park, West Bend Trail & Outback Trail, Todd Lake & Suttle Lake in Central Oregon. I expect it everywhere now.

If you live in Bend, Central Oregon, or nearby towns like Sunriver or Sisters, you probably get it.

If you’re thinking about moving to Bend, relocating from Portland, or comparing neighborhoods based on lifestyle and daily routines, I’m happy to help.

Comment GUIDE and I’ll send my Moving to Bend Guide, with neighborhood breakdowns, local favorites, and what living here actually looks like.
