POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Join us at The Portrait Gala as we honor Kim Green and the remarkable women of The 50 Over 50 Experience.
https://www.the50over50experience.com/event-details-registration/the-portrait-gala

Kim Green doesn't see writing as a creative pursuit so much as a path to healing. After navigating loss, illness, divorce, and reinvention, she came to believe that the truths we refuse to speak eventually find another way to be heard. Even lupus became, for her, an invitation to ask where she had stopped being honest with herself.

Kim has little patience for the stories people perform for the world. She is drawn instead to the ones that emerge in solitude—when the page is blank, the room is quiet, and there is no one left to impress.

She believes healing begins the moment we tell ourselves the truth. Music gave voice to feelings she couldn't yet name; writing helped her understand them. Today, she guides other women toward that same reckoning, helping them discover that the voice they have been searching for was never lost—only waiting to be heard. Kim's story leaves behind a question that lingers long after the final sentence: What changes when we finally tell ourselves the truth?

A truly amazing 5 days of finding peace and healing in these troubling times. Thank you to @kimgreenwords for giving 14 women a chance to heal. We came from all over the country, for different reasons...from California to NY, New Mexico and Georgia. And we left as a forever support system. Friends. Beautiful location, wonderful activities and a true restorative experience. #onelaneforward #writetohealtucson #watertowerranch #paintingandvinotucson #onpointacupuncture #courageandcuriosity #tucsonarizona #writersretreat #drumcircle #soundbath #signalhill #saguaronationalparkwest #chironguide #equinetherapy #journaling #writingcoach
