Can you believe this church is in the Los Angeles area?

These three lovely ladies happened to match today in their burnt orange. One wore it intentionally in honor of Pentecost 🔥; the others just happened to pick the same color 😊

“They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them” (Acts 2:3-4).

*(music by @kimimikel)* After 22 days in the hospital Daisy was released to continue treatment at home on Dec 7th, 2022. She was very uncertain about loading up in the dark trailer but with enough coaxing she did it. She was so excited when she got home she lost her footing a bit while unloading and worked herself up into a coughing fit. As soon as she composed herself she was set on getting to her stall.

She repeatedly walked around her stall checking that it was real and exactly how it should be. However, she couldn’t get enough interaction with Doodle. She definitely got a good nights sleep with him by her side. The next morning she was bright eyed and wearing her food very well.

We gave her 2 days of rest before she got her antibiotic shot split between either side of her neck. Typically this shot is put in the booty but due to how sleep deprived she was and how unhappy she was with the hospitals handling techniques, the vet decided it would be safer to do her neck. However, tomorrow December 13th, she has to get it in her booty without breaking the vets leg. So we practiced her taking a toothpick poke to the booty with some positive reinforcement at liberty in her stall.

She threatened to kick a few times and danced around a bit but overall she did amazing. At the hospital they used a lip chain, twisting her ear, and held a leg up while doing procedures including giving injections which brought out a lot of defensive behaviors. We are very proud of Daisy for trusting us and making this amount of progress in controlling her reactions to a simulated shot in just one practice session.

While she is home, Daisy’s hospital bill totaled out to over $11k and we still have an unknown amount of vet bills ahead of us to get her back to being able to run and play in the arena with doodle. Please share her go fund me link from our bio so we can help Daisy get back to her spunky, sassy self.

We know Daisy is a strong horse and she is fighting with all her might to make it home. We need your help to get her home and healthy again. Please see the go fund me link created for Daisy if you can’t donate please share the link we are desperate to be able to bring our baby home.
.
Daisy has been given up on, hurt, ignored, and abandoned by people too many times in her life. Just 2 years ago she was given a second chance at living a good life when we brought her home and she’s begging to get back home with the people and horses who love her even to the point of trying to sneak out of her stall. Please bet on our girl she’s strong but needs longer in the hospital to continue fighting her pneumonia.
.
Thank you @kimimikel for betting on Daisy and making such a beautiful song for her ❤️

WOMEN’S NIGHT OF WORSHIP & MIRACLES.
I feel like it’s not every day that someone who’s not on staff at a church takes it upon themselves to organize and gather 35 people (41 including babysitters!) just to worship the Lord and pray over one another.

But that’s what @lindsyklavalle did for last night’s event.

I personally enjoyed worship time and journaling in that anointed atmosphere and a really nice back rub by @kimimikel , as well as a special moment of sisterhood when a few of us girls stood together with our arms around each other’s shoulders for the final song.

So often we may go through trials alone because we don’t know we can reach out to others or we are afraid to do so for whatever reason, but standing together with those women, I felt comforted that no matter what I go through, I will have Jesus #1 but also He will usually provide people to be there for me, if I will just open up and let them be vessels of that support. We are not meant to do life alone but to be interdependent with fellow people of God.

Being there was so refreshing.

As I walked to my car afterward, I thought, I wish I could do something like this every night!

Worship and fellowship — the things of God — that’s where it’s at.
