we spent the weekend in savannah celebrating the woman that changed my entire life for the better!!! 💛

to be in eliza’s crew is to gain a whole new family (for me, literally). every moment of bryce & eliza’s day was full of MAGIC. we spent the weekend living in the rose hill mansion which meant late nights laying on the carpet as the grand piano played, a kitchen full of flowers, champagne in the bathtub & one big sleepover of old friends.

i’ll love you forever mr. & mrs. harbuck!! thanks for choosing me to live this wonderful life with!🥂

2020 was full of chaos, disappointment, & so much loss. on almost a whim (or what i now know to be divine intervention) i booked a flight to california as the world was shutting down around me.

it felt careless & out of my natural planner tendency, but then i was on a little plane across the sky with no way to back out.

within the week of moving in with my friend eliza i met noah-he was kind, gentle, wildly handsome & consistent. to my complete shock he asked me out within 3 days of meeting me & we began our “summer fling” (at least that was everyone called it & i almost started to believe them too)!!

when i flew back to tennessee i realized how CRAZY my summer sounded & i honestly started to prepare my heart that i may just have to leave noah as my miracle of 2020 & nothing more; i knew we had a lot of college left & we may not fit into each other’s real lives & all noah had left me with was “i want you to know you mean a lot to me”.
but when i landed back home, noah never stopped calling.
despite rising airfare prices, a 3 hour time zone difference, and a 24 hour drive between us & all other odds, noah consistently perused me since the day he met me.

that summer-at 18, i loved noah & i have only grown to love him in a million new ways since.

on this past thursday after classes sydney asked me to take new headshots for her in fletcher park (if you think back to when i first broke it to instagram i had a boyfriend; sydney took those pictures in THIS park!!)
you would never believe how shocked i was when i stumbled upon a blanket with flowers & pictures, so i quickly tried to leave telling sydney someone was getting engaged & we needed to go.
& then there was noah-standing right in front of me & he asked me if i would be his wife. it was the easiest “yes!!!” i’ve ever said because of who he is. i am going to get to spend the rest of my life with a man who makes me better daily, encourages me in my pursuits & treasures me in all circumstances.
