Master Builder ➡️ God I initially wanted to rent again. My mentor said it was time to buy. Then my realtor @ablankhome said it was time to buy, and then she connected me with their lender. The lender @closingsbycori created a plan for me to pay off my debt. I said “another plan.” Holy Spirit said the plan will do you no good, without a new mindset. I prayed and asked God for the strategy, discipline, and mindset to pay off debt and take financially literacy seriously. You can ask chat for a plan, you can have someone create a plan for you, and you can even have a mentor or spiritual leader tell you exactly what to do, but without a renewed mind and the act of obedience the plan will never be executed. I had to PRAY for a new mindset for financial freedom, not just for this house, but for my entire future. Once I got pre-approved, my goal was to purchase a new build for sure. God had another plan in mind, way BIGGER than what I expected. He allowed me to build my first home from the ground up. The day I looked at the property, the builders informed me that the lot I desired became available the day before due to the original buyer not being able to proceed with the purchase. However, they already selected all the finished and I couldn’t make any changes. But God had me in mind the entire time. The original buyer selected every finish I would have ever wanted in my first build, upgraded every finish selection possible, AND all the appliances were included. I only made one small request to change the carpet color and that was granted. Next thing I had to do was get preapproved again with the builder’s preferred lender. I was hesitant because this house was actually over my original budget. Again, God had me in mind. I was approved on the spot. After I took it off the market, the sales agent informed me and my realtor that they were able to negotiate the price down about $10k. God saw this through to the very end. All the way up to closing the lender and the seller were adding more credits to get me to the closing table. There was a moment before the build where I became restless, but I decided to wait on God. This was worth the wait.

HOMEOWNER 🤍✨🔑 God has been faithful! I started this journey in January of this year, and God saw it through to the very end! The testimony behind this purchase is way too BIG to share here so I’ll share it at a later date. But if I could share 3 things: 1. Be a woman of Prayer 2. Have Faith that whatever God says and good thing He starts, He sees it to completion. He’s faithful to fulfill it! 3. TITHE & GIVE!!!! Been planning this moment for almost two years, and seeing it all come together the way it did was crazy. I told my boy @xavierperryart the vision a long time ago and he really helped me bring the whole thing to life with a fake art show at @godisdope then @champagnenupe came through with the pics and brought @akachemarcino to capture everything visually and the whole night ended up being better than I imagined. Big thank you to my boy @sharodcantsing and Jenee at @icebox for helping me get the ring right. My moms @jdc0826 and @renci.xo helped make sure the ring got to me, my kids were there, family and friends were there, and everybody played a part in making the night special. Most importantly, I thank God for the path He’s been putting me on and for allowing me to step into this next chapter with the woman I love @kimrazil Two years of planning for one moment.
