The audacity to begin again. 🦋✨
Who decided there was an expiration date on starting over?
You can spend 20 years building a career and decide to pursue something entirely different. You can outgrow old dreams, discover new passions, change your mind, and completely reinvent yourself at 40, 50, 60, or beyond.
And here’s the beautiful part: none of those years were wasted. Every experience, every lesson, every version of you has brought you to where you are today.
You don’t owe your future to the decisions you made in your past.
So take the class. Start the business. Book the trip. Chase the dream you’ve been putting off.
You’ve still got chapters to write, darling. 💋

This woman right here. She is fierce, strong, loyal, knows no stranger (no seriously, she’s know more people in the town that I live in than me), compassionate, selfless, loving, protective, patient (and yes, I test that patience daily), my therapist, my real life ChatGPT.

Most importantly she is a mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, wife, and friend. She’s our family’s rock and anchor no matter what storm life may throw at us. She’s my best friend.

Annnndddd, that is why today is the MOST important day ever!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the woman who gives everything to everyone else!! This is YOUR day to celebrate YOU!! 35 never looked so good!! I love you!

I’m on my way to a gathering of fellow storytellers tonight to celebrate our show that we did in early August. I still have people coming up to me, almost a month later, mentioning how much they loved hearing these vulnerable, authentic, very real stories. I have loved being part of the Legend program with other incredible OC leaders and our fearless leader, Jay Golden.

If you have the interest (and 15 minutes of time!) check out my talk in its entirety at the link in my bio. Trigger warnings— death, grief, mental health, anxiety/OCD
