The sounds of kin working its magic at the basin ✨

I am absolutely obsessed with the Kin intensive shots. They are an absolute go-to for me after lightening services.

My clients absolutely adore these treatments just as much as me. 🫶🏻

Let’s talk no-bleach balayage ☕️

This technique is perfect for creating soft, natural dimension — but it does have its limitations.

Your starting colour, hair history and desired result all determine what’s achievable.

It’s not about one technique being better than another, but choosing what’s right for your hair.

No bleach can be beautiful, as long as your expectations match the chemistry 🤎✨

Let’s talk hair loss, because it’s not always what it looks like.

Sometimes it’s shedding from the scalp. Other times it’s a retention issue, where the hair is growing but breaking through the lengths. They’re two very different things, so understanding what we’re looking at matters before recommending anything.

I don’t recommend products I haven’t trialled myself. I used KINACTIF’s Anti-Hair Loss range on my own hair first + personally noticed faster growth, more hair coming through and an overall improvement in how my hair felt. I’ve since had sooo much positive feedback from clients too, and it’s become a range I just love having available to support scalp health in the salon.

But something I really want to emphasise is that we’re hairdressers, not doctors. Our role isn’t to diagnose hair loss, but to recognise changes, ask the right questions + know when to refer clients on.

If a client is experiencing unexplained shedding, thinning or changes to their scalp, seeking advice from a medical professional should always be encouraged. Products can support scalp health, but they’re not a substitute for understanding what’s actually causing the hair loss.

Loss or retention: which one do you see more of in the chair? 👇

Proof that creating lightness doesn’t always mean reaching for bleach. 🤎

For my sister’s brunette, I worked across the KIN colour portfolio to create soft, diffused caramel tones while maintaining plenty of natural depth + dimension.

The goal was never to make her blonde, but to enhance the brunette she already had. Creating those subtle ribbons of warmth that almost look like they’ve been naturally lightened by the sun, rather than in the salon.

Soft contrast, caramel warmth + a beautifully glossy finish.

I think that’s what I love most about creating hyper-natural colour. It’s not always about how much you can change, but how beautifully you can enhance what’s already there. 🤍

This deserves a spot on the grid 🧡🤎

Cindy is usually always wearing pink and bright colours and has had pink hair for YEARS but decided on a change, Fits the spooky season well 🎃

Lower maintenance and better for the bank account 🤪

BLONDE SEASON IS HEATING UP ☀️🤍

Sunshine, salty hair & a blonde that just hits different.

We’re talking soft, dimensional blonde with lived-in texture, face framing brightness and a beautifully blended grow out.

The best part? A low maintenance blonde that works with your lifestyle, giving you more flexibility between salon visits without sacrificing that fresh blonde feel.

Less upkeep, more beach days, still looking 🔥

Blonde, but make it effortless. 😉
