There’s a lot of talk these days about what makes a man a GOOD MAN. I can’t say I have a definitive answer, but using your talent and energy and time on god’s green earth to elevate the voice and ideas of a woman sure doesn’t hurt.

I’m endlessly grateful to this band of sweet boys for bringing this album to life (and to @photobybern for capturing every significant moment of my life).

Step-by-step instructions for putting on a record release show:
1. make an album
2. do approximately one million things behind the scenes
3. hope the vinyl arrives in time
4. play the songs for actual, real-life people
5. immediately start getting ready to do it all again

Friday night at @theacorntheater was pretty damn special. Next up: @thestraygr and @the_ark_ann_arbor

(PS: the song in this video is an unreleased one that you’ll get to hear next month. 😍)
