Nicole LaRue makes things that matter. Her work spans cultural movements, graphic novels, and human rights advocacy. Now tattooing with @rekindled_co, she brings that same precision and purpose with a hint of quirk to her tattoo clients.

Come get some permanent art by Nicole at Trick or Tatt.

The flash sheets are here. And yeah, they’re haunted.

We’re excited to share the incredible designs for Trick or Tatt, featuring each artist’s own style and energy, all centered on a theme that did NOT disappoint.

Three queer tattoo artists.
Two ticket types to suit your vibe.
One very good reason to RSVP.

Whether you’re coming for the hangs or the ink, RSVP is required, no matter your preference.

What an absolute privilege to get to design this year’s Utah Queer Film Festival theme! Thank you truly to Russell Roots, @mmmellus and @catpalmerslc for this absolutely brilliant project! This year’s theme centers around the message Defend Queer Film, and is a reminder to support the filmmakers creating queer stories and to make sure queer voices continue to be seen, heard and celebrated! The festival is happening November 6-8, 2026 @utahfilmcenter Get your tickets @utahqff #utahqueerfilmfestival #queerartist #defendqueerfilm #utah

We’re thrilled to unveil the 2026 Utah Queer Film Festival design, brought to life by artist Nicole LaRue of @kindgoodsstudio!

Centered around the powerful message DEFEND QUEER FILM, Nicole’s design is a reminder to support the filmmakers creating queer stories and make sure queer voices continue to be seen, heard, and celebrated! Queer film creates space to see ourselves, witness experiences different from our own, preserve our histories, and connect us to one another. 💖

We’re so grateful to Nicole for creating a design that reflects a key pillar of UQFF. Festival attendees can take home limited-edition merch featuring this original artwork, available exclusively at #UQFF2026!

📅 Utah Queer Film Festival is happening November 6–8 at @UtahFilmCenter!

You already know the artists. You already love the format. This time, we’re making it spooky.

Trick or Tatt brings back our favorite trio of local queer tattoo artists (Kamm, Lemon & Nicole) for a Halloween special on Thursday, 10/29 at HK Brewing Co. Each one is coming with an exclusive spooky flash sheet and a very limited number of spots. First come, first served. No appointments, no custom work. Show up, pick your flash, and commit.

Not getting tattooed? Come anyway! It’s still TITTY POCKET. Still free. Still the best room of queer womxn in SLC.

Wear a costume or don’t, but either way, don’t sleep on the RSVP (link in bio).

Happy spooky season, witches.
