Ten care kits benefiting the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption officially hit the mail this weekend! 🎀📦

After all the planning, shopping, picking out special items for each kit, packing everything up, including Kindness Crowns in some of the girls’ bags, & writing handwritten notes of encouragement, seeing it all come together has made every bit of the hard work worth it!

My little kindness project is now reaching foster youth across the country, & that makes my heart SO happy 🩷 I hope each child, no matter where they are, who receives a kit feels seen & remembered especially during a journey that can sometimes be hard & uncomfortable 🩷🎀

THE CARE KITS ARE HERE!!! ♥️ And I am SO excited to get them packed! Did you know that Dave Thomas, the founder of Wendy’s, was adopted from foster care? He used his own story and experiences to create The Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption, to support kids in foster care & help them find forever families‼️

Just four years ago, I was adopted from foster care. So the opportunity to pack care kits for kids who are walking a journey that I know personally, is a full-circle moment that means so much to me!

So, this may be a service project, but it’s also a little thank you to Jesus, because I could still be waiting & I never want to take that for granted! And the best way I can say thank you is to use the blessings I’ve been given to support kids who are still waiting ♥️

And y’all… we have A LOT of care kits to pack! If you’d like to sponsor a kit, $20 covers the items needed. Send me a DM, I’d love to have you be part of this! 🫶🏼

📸: and because sometimes a picture really does tell the story…

Swipe left to see little me, just 1 week after being placed with my forever family 🤍 This picture was taken 9 months after I entered foster care and just 6 months before I was adopted 🥹 Thank you to every case worker, agency, volunteer & family that supported me until my heart found its forever home 🩷

One of my favorite parts of my year of service has been sharing my Kindness Crowns coloring book to encourage children to choose kindness every single day. Through fun coloring pages & positive messages, it’s a reminder that confidence & kindness never go out of style.

I’m so grateful that we’ve sold nearly 100 copies through online & in-person purchases! Every book is another opportunity to remind a child that kindness is something they can wear every day.

As I count down to the @nationalamericanmiss state pageant, I’m reminded that pageantry is about so much more than a title, it’s about using your platform to make a difference, one act of kindness at a time.

If you’d like to support the mission, Kindness Crowns is available on Amazon! 💜

💙✨ HELP ME. HELP YOU. HELP US. ✨💙

Our next 2026 #IdealPreteen spotlight shines on America’s Ideal Miss District of Columbia Preteen, Serenity Street, and her incredible platform, Kindness Crowns! 👑💙

Serenity is proving that kindness is always in style. Through her service project, she supports youth in foster care by creating encouragement cards, custom bows, birthday boxes, clothing drives, and so much more. Her mission is to help every child feel seen, valued, and loved.

I absolutely love seeing young leaders use their voices to make an IDEAL difference in the lives of others, and Serenity is doing just that!

Thank you, Serenity, for showing us that a little kindness can go a long way and that every act of service has the power to change someone’s day—and maybe even their life.

Be sure to follow her journey and keep up the amazing work! Who will be featured next in my Help Me. Help You. Help Us. spotlight series? Stay tuned! 👀

Overflowing with love! ✨ For my birthday, I hosted a toy drive & I sponsored two amazing girls in foster care for their birthday. With the help of generous donations, gifts I personally picked out, & custom creations I made just for them, these girls are getting a birthday filled with joy, love, & the reminder that they are seen & special. My heart is full knowing they’ll feel celebrated in a big way! ❤️🎁🎉

Thank you @worthdays for the work you do on behalf of each kid experiencing foster care!

And just like that, my first year of pageantry is over! 👑✨ I had so much fun making new friends, learning new things, & growing in confidence. It was such an exciting journey, and I’ll always remember the memories I made on stage & behind the scenes.

I’m also really excited to share something special—my platform, Sparkle in Service! ✨ With this, I want to help families and communities who are going through hard times by spreading kindness and joy. Giving back makes me feel so happy, and I can’t wait to make a difference one sparkle at a time! Be sure to follow us @sparkle_inservice I have been working hard to ensure my first service project is a success (coming January 2025).

Thank you to everyone who has cheered me on and supported me this year. This is just the beginning of something amazing! 💖
