My mama took me to school that day so we could stop at Walmart to buy the cd. This had countdown stickers on it and on the release day I’m like YAL DONT NEED IT NO MORE CAN I HAVE IT!?. They said NO. I mope on to the back to grab the cd, I come back it’s GONE. 😤 the worker had an attitude at 6am so I figured she just got rid of it to be mean lol I stomped to the car basically cussing her out to my mama, then she pops the trunk 😂😂 IDK HOW @tamarajanece GOT IT AND I AINT NEVER ASKED NO QUESTIONS! Lolll

@kinesixx brought Nashville’s BeyHive together for Bey Fest 🐝, and we had A TIME!! The details made this feel like a full celebration, from the Beyoncé collection to the SirDavis drink menu.

@tikaafterdark @yeahthats.true @jacobdior did their thing on the music. Between their sets and the live musicians, we got a whole show! Everybody was enjoying themselves, and that was my favorite part.

@kinesixx I’m going to need Bey Fest back next year!

Grateful to @tennesseannews for recognizing this experience and the years of vision, sacrifice and intention behind what I do.

I’ve spent years building spaces where Nashville’s Black and Brown communities can experience the best: major brands in our rooms, local talent placed on bigger stages and moments that remind us we are worthy of being invested in.

This has never been about throwing parties, shows, or events. It’s about building culture, creating opportunities and showing Nashville what’s possible when we think bigger.

I’m proud of what I’ve created. I’m grateful it’s being seen. And I’m learning that the woman behind the vision deserves to be cared for, too.
