Following the success of our new gallery opening this Summer, IKEA Merriam is proud to announce a new partnership with @mattierhodescenter , a longstanding Kansas City organization dedicated to celebrating cultural heritage, fostering artistic expression, and strengthening communities. The partnership will debut with the opening of Recuerdos y Suenos/Memories & Dreams, a new art exhibition that honors the Mexican celebration of Day of the Dead/Dia de Los Muertos that is located in the Heart of the Nation Art Gallery upstairs near the IKEA Restaurant. The exhibition showcases works that reflect the rich cultural stories, creativity, and diverse voices represented through the Mattie Rhodes community and local artists in Kansas City. Come check it out!
.
Thank you to @mattierhodescenter for bringing this awesome collection to IKEA, and shoutout @ikeamerriam.marketmanager and @jordanperz for continuing to build a space where we all can come together!

First time visiting state of Idaho, and was lucky enough to catch ‘Spirit of Boise’ Balloon Classic in Ann Morrison Park. First time being so close to so many hot air balloons. It was amazing to see how the community showed out at to watch this event. Definitely a fan of Boise, will definitely have to come back.

THE ROGUE REAPER OF RHYTHM

What do Khanjars and @venus_moosiqi’s curated tracks have in common?
When you get hit with em, you aren’t going anywhere.

A Dangerous DJ known for their majestic sets and perilous selections. Her scabbards and sheaths are loaded with an assortment of diverse rhythms. Pulled from treacherous tundras to deadly deserts, a true expert in her craft.

Venus creates her own path. A pivotal Knightmare Collective assassin who values themes of the our unit. Maybe @d.a.y.dreamcollective should take some notes.
