🐋 Wissenswertes über den Pottwal | Sperm Whale 🌊

Ein Gigant der Tiefe! 💙 Der Pottwal ist der größte Zahnwal der Welt und kann bis zu 2.000/3.000 Meter tief tauchen, um nach Nahrung zu suchen. Dabei jagt er vor allem Tintenfische und kann über eine Stunde unter Wasser bleiben.

Sein riesiger Kopf macht fast ein Drittel seiner Körperlänge aus. Und obwohl er so gewaltig ist, bewegt er sich mit beeindruckender Ruhe durch die dunklen Tiefen des Ozeans. ✨

🦑 Was steht auf seinem Speiseplan?
Am liebsten frisst der Pottwal Tintenfische, darunter auch Tiefseekalmare. Aber auch Fische und andere Kopffüßer gehören zu seiner Nahrung. Mit seinen kräftigen Kiefern und vielen Zähnen ist er perfekt an die Jagd in der dunklen Tiefsee angepasst.
