Happy new month and happy Eid to our Muslim fam. I have missed making videos, posting and most especially my beautiful and great followers. This past weeks have been a rollercoaster but I'm grateful that am alive and you guys are still here following me even in my absence.

I will come back here soon and I promise better than I left. Thanks to those that sent DM's and called. I do not take the love for granted.

Have a great and testimony filled month. Cheers

Happy Tuesday food lovers❣️

Here are some kitchen tips I know you'll find helpful and I thought to share with you👇

1-Never put citrus fruits (oranges, lemon, lime etc) or tomatoes in the fridge, the low temperature degrades the aroma and flavor of these fruits.

2-To avoid feeling a peppering hotness on your hands after cutting pepper with bare hands, scrub your hands with salt and red oil/vegetable oil, then wash it.
To avoid the hotness before cutting the pepper, you should rub the juice in your fresh tomatoes all over your hands.

3-To deal with your rice or spaghetti boiling over while cooking, simply drop in an ice cube.

4-Never store onions and potatoes together because both produce a gas that causes them to spoil quickly.

5-If you happen to oversalt a pot of soup just drop in a peeled potato, the potato will absorb the excess salt.
Bread works this magic too😉

6-When storing empty airtight containers, throw in a pinch of salt to keep them from getting stinky.

7-If your salt is becoming lumpy, put a few grains of rice in with it to absorb excess moisture.

8- To reuse cooking oil without tasting whatever was cooked in the oil previously, cook a 1/4 piece of ginger in the oil. It will remove any remaining flavours and odours.

Which of these tip(s) did you find most helpful? Comment and tag a friend to see this.
