Feeling overjoyed with my latest competition results! 🏆
Tuesday May 26, 2026
Ultra Nationals by @uspapower
🥇 1st Place Masters (Age 40). 60kg Weight Class
This prep, I tried something new: double days.
☀️ Mornings focused on bench variations, accessories, and volume.🌙 Evenings @santacruzstrength focused on the beast lifts—squat and deadlift.

Mon, Tue, & Fri were my primary training days, while Wednesday became my bonus day for Olympic weightlifting with the legend @kingmorghan 🏋🏽‍♀️

It felt good trying new routines, training in different environments, and giving myself permission to play... I mean work. 😅

Looking back, back-to-back competitions probably weren’t ideal. Both training blocks were short, and I jumped right into another strength phase. 🦍

Then, just days before competition week, I started feeling a tickle in my throat.
By Sunday, on the drive to Nationals, I felt like absolute hell. 🤧
The night before was rough—sweats, fever dreams, and a battle with the voices in my head.

They whispered:

“Don’t show up.””You’re going to fail.”

I refused to listen.
I refuse to entertain weakness.I refuse to indulge victimhood.I refuse to recycle limiting beliefs.

So I put on my big girl pants, got pretty, and reminded myself to walk with POWER. ✨

I wasn’t feeling 100%.
That meant I had to give 120%.

A lift I’ve missed multiple times while feeling great. To finally lock it out on this day felt incredible. 3rd 155/341 🔴

I shocked myself.

I proved to myself that I am no longer the little girl with stage fright.
The Champ showed up. 🫡
I love this sport because it continues to help me grow from the inside out. It has surrounded me with strong, inspiring, like-minded people, and for that I am grateful.
Thank you to my love, training partner does who cheer my wins💐🫶🏾 Next up …🌏 #disneyheroine #powerlifting #girlswholift #liftlikeagirl

He left everything and moved across the country to chase a shot at the Olympics.

No guarantees.
No safety net.
Told his fiancée he’d be back in a few months.

He made it. Twice.

But that’s not the point.

The point is how clear he was.

Most people don’t have a motivation problem.
They have a clarity problem.

When you’re actually clear on what you want…
the hard decisions stop feeling hard.

You don’t need more hype.

You need a clarity.
