What an incredible experience. The cloak and champagne dispensing golden throne is the coolest thing ever.

If there is anything I’ve learned this season, it’s that I enjoy the journey much more than the destination.

We can’t say enough about the staff, the players, and the whole Fans First culture with banana ball. Every single person made these boys feel so special and important. From every Tik Tok they post that staff comments on to at least acting like they recognized them when they met - they felt so special. And for humoring Jonah when he asked about Pokémon and Bible stories. They’re already asking when they can see them again!
They missed @jacksonolson_ and @bronsonbalholm a ton and hope they can meet them one day!
We also didn’t get to meet @dakota_albritton, but I can say I have never seen that baby more excited in his whole life than when Stilts walked by us. He was literally bouncing in his daddy’s arms screaming!
What an incredible trip!

Hospital Day 187/🫀Waitlist Day 170: Walker’s Heart Transplant Journey

A lowkey Thursday, Walker had his tutor while Brian WFH(ospital) and Kennedy had school.

Walker’s afternoon was filled with fun science experiments, the first was on the roof with Ginny and then he did another volcano experiment with Child Life. Walker is obsessed with @crunchlabs so I have no doubt he felt just like @markrober 🧑🏼‍🔬🧪

Kennedy had gymnastics and then we watched @bananaball 2027 schedule release show and we are thrilled the @thesavbananas will be back at Yankee Stadium (we had tickets for this past April but were already admitted to Boston Children’s so couldn’t go)…but now the question is, what will life look like for us at the end of May 2027? We have had to live in such a day-to-day mindset that thinking about a date 7 months from now feels impossible…but also allowing ourselves to hope and dream that perhaps Walker will be able to make it to his beloved Yankee Stadium with his new heart cheering on his Savannah Banana buddies would be a really, really incredible dream, so I’m going to manifest this…Walker WILL see you at Yankee Stadium next year @theglovemagician @jacksonolson_ @connorharris30 @dan_hoz34 @danny__bananas @coachgillum66 @kingofpotassium @mannana_ant @thedancingumpire 🫀💪🏻💛

Brian and Walker ended the night with some @jeopardy and @afvofficial and then it was lights out.
