Jonah Love was born 29th of July 2003 and raised in the small city of Hanford, California. His introduction to music was going to a local bar with his Dad when he was 7, and seeing a band called Poor Man’s Poison playing. He remembers one of the band members playing guitar and a harmonica at the same time and from then he wanted to learn guitar. A few years down the line he was singing Frank Sinatra at open mic nights at a now closed-down pizzeria called Fatty Albert’s. The transition to rapping happened at school with his friends. His friendship group had a rule where you couldn’t leave the lunch table unless you dropped a quick 8 or 16 so this is where he picked up the art. At 16 he became known on TikTok for, in his own words, posting thirst traps, but as he began taking rap more seriously his page became more focused on the music. After his graduation, Love moved out to NYC, originally to work with a modelling agency out there. They said he was half an inch too short so they wouldn’t represent him, and wouldn’t get him a flight back. He was stuck. So he stayed out there and pursued music. Since then he has put out an album, a whole bunch of singles, toured with @lexagates, performed at Head In The Clouds Festival, and modelled for Bape, New Era, Willy Chavarria, and Tom Bogo. One to keep your eye on. #081173
