only a surprise @cepaquette DC visit with @shrillcollins, @kingofthedancefloor, & @emilyishapless could bring me out of my drug den (see also: pussy palace, cat crack home etcetc) to be social on a Wednesday night ♥️💉♥️

(ps highly recommend Maketto if you, too, have always wondered what you’d look like as a cardboard cutout//Hey Arnold! extra 👩🏻‍🎤)

harm reduction has given me so much. & whatever skills i’ve picked up along the way have been invaluable, but swapping stories with @kingofthedancefloor today was a needed reminder that people & relationships have always been at the center of that. of what matters when all else fades. & I doubt it’s an exaggeration to say i’ve met some of the most beautiful, resilient people in the fucking world through this community - Stephen, ofc, being one of them.

i’m always gonna be grateful to have had him, @majitosaldana, & @cepaquette as my OG harm reduction mentors way back in 2014 when HIPS was still operating out of a basement along Rhode Island Ave. i’m even more grateful they’re all still in my life 🖤
