On the road for a Fall Film Fest tour!

First stop: La Crosse tonight for the @lacrosseadventurefilms Storytelling and shredding block! We will be screening of Lake Effect a Michigan Ski Film!

Meanwhile Hometown Hype Northern Michigan will be playing under the tent tonight at the @freshcoastfilm free kickoff event!

I will then be jumping in the car and driving to Marquette to participate im the rest of FreshCoast where i’ll be sitting on a filmmaker panel tomorrow at 12pm to talk about film distribution.

And then Hometown Hype also plays Saturday + Sunday at 10am!

So excited to get these films back on the big screen and spend a few days talking film, storytelling, and the Great Lakes adventure! See you there!

Thank you to all the people involved that helped create these films!!!

These are the days we prayed for… Michigan has been a part of @dru.cornett and I’s lives separately and then we got engaged up here in 2017. Little did I know how that one little word of “YES” would weave Michigan more and more in my heart. I came here as a child with my very large family, my professional career had Michigan as my territory, and now our kids get to continue the next generation of memories and love for this place. 💚🤍💙💛

Today we’re celebrating the people who help put good food on our tables and make our local food system stronger. Happy National Farmer’s Day!

We’re incredibly grateful to work with so many amazing local farms and producers, including KK’s Farm, Providence Farm, King Orchards, Mshko’Ode Farm, Open Sky Organic Farm, Bluestem Farm, and many more.

Every time you choose local, you’re supporting the farmers who grow, harvest, and care for the food that makes its way to our shelves. We’re proud to support them and even prouder to share their hard work with our community.

Thank you, farmers, for everything you do.

October is Co-op Month, and we’re celebrating by showing some Local Love!

Throughout the month, we’ll be welcoming some of the local farmers, producers, and vendors who help make the Grain Train what it is. Stop by, say hello, sample some local goodness, and learn more about the folks behind some of your favorite products.

Here’s where you can find them:

BOYNE CITY
• Big Medicine Coffee — Saturday, October 17, 11 a.m.–2 p.m.

• Brotherton Farm — Saturday, October 24, 11 a.m.–1 p.m.

PETOSKEY
• King Orchards — Friday, October 16, 3–5 p.m.

• KK’s Farm — Friday, October 23, 3–5 p.m.

• Providence Farm — Friday, October 9, 3–5 p.m. — pending

Come show some love for the people who grow, make, roast, and produce right here in our community. We’re proud to support local, and even prouder to share their work with you.

@kingorchards Apple U-Pick is now open! And, now is the time to support local farms and local food pantries. When you donate $10 to King Orchards they will be donating 40 lbs of produce.

You can donate at the Link in Bio.

This program provides us all the opportunity to make sure no good food goes to waste, that our local food pantries always have fresh produce available, and that local farms are supported in providing us all with healthy food.

@kingorchards up in Central Lake, Michigan was the perfect place for our first apple picking experience.

The Just For Kids kit by @rockfordpack are absolutely perfect for the littles and they were so thrilled to have their OWN bag of apples THEY picked!😊

I can’t believe we waited so long to go Apple picking!

Make Apple orchards a part of your fall family traditions this year!
