It’s Pasadena Cheeseburger Week and what better way to enjoy my wine than with a nice, juicy burger. Check out @kings_bnb and grab yourself a classic cheeseburger and a bottle of Montepulciano. This wine’s fruit and spice will help cut through the layers and flavors of a cheesy burger. #wine #vino #pasadenacheeseburgerweek #burgerandwine #winepairing #foodandwjne

Kings Breakfast and Burgers

There are certain foods that are highly reviewed and debated in LA. Breakfast burritos are one such food. I recently saw a video of someone reviewing their 95th breakfast burrito, and since it looked good and is located in the Eaton Fire zone, I decided to check it out as well for my fire zone series.

The burrito in question is the machaca breakfast burrito at Kings Breakfast and Burgers.

I had family visiting so we all met up there on a Sunday morning. I ordered the machaca, my niece ordered pancakes and really wanted me to feature them and her in the video too. Other family members ordered bacon, chorizo and sausage burritos.

The burritos were very large. Mine had tots, cheese, machaca, peppers, onions and eggs. It seemed a little lite on the eggs to me. The tortilla was nicely toasted and it was really tasty. They give a creamy sauce and a green salsa and both of those were just ok.

My niece got a huge stack of 4 fluffy pancakes and really enjoyed them.

If you’re looking for a good breakfast near Altadena, you should stop in and give this place a try.

LA Fire Justice Small Business of the Week: @kings_bnb

A cozy Altadena staple, King’s Breakfast & Burgers has been serving up hearty plates, smashed burgers, and genuine hospitality for years. During the Eaton Fire, they stayed open and helped feed first responders, showing real dedication to the neighborhood.

Like many local spots, they’ve faced challenges, but they continue to push forward as a proud family run restaurant. They also offer catering for events of any size, bringing the same comforting flavors straight to your table.

For questions or catering inquiries, you can reach them by phone, email, or via their social handle, @kings_bnb!
