Be a Hero Tournament. August 31st, 2024. 💙

Watching my community come together to honor my husband who passed away was more than I could ever ask for. I have never felt so much love and support through this nightmare! Our softball family has repeatedly made sure that the kids and I are okay.
They have not stopped loving on my family!
I am so Thankful to everyone who has helped us through this new chapter without Zach.
I couldn’t be more grateful for Smyrna fast pitch league, NSA, and every team that entered into this tournament. It was truly a great day of ball. I know Zach was smiling down!!!

Zach-

My big brother.
My protector.
My biggest supporter.
My hypeman.
The one I look up to.
The one who made me cool.
The one that made me learn to joke.
The best prayer warrior.
The most genuine.
The most loving.
The most selfless.
The most talented.
The person to make a stranger feel like family.
The best husband, dad, son, brother & friend I've ever known.
My heart is shattered.
I'll never be the same without you.
It was always us.
Life will never be as joyful.
You're the light in the darkest rooms.
I wish I could hear you say "Lak Attack!" & love you lil sis one more time.

Mama used to make us sing this song as a duet together as kids & we still laugh about it. Now I see we really will meet again one sweet day.

Gone at 33 at 3:33pm. You were always our angel on earth. I love you so much. I promise to look after your family.

A whole week with Phoenix!
We had a rough delivery, the doctors and nurses expected to have him at 10pm on the 29th, but my guy was not going that easily! He decided to stay put until about 4am May 30th. My epidural did not work on my left side so I was feeling it all and it was not easy! I don’t know how mamas do it natural, big up’s to them because I was so defeated! But thankfully around 3am they came and redid the epidural for me so I was more comfortable by the time it actually came to push. His cord got stuck around his neck and shoulder so once the doctor realized and cut it Phoenix came spewing out literally.

Fast forward to today. My baby is a week old and I can’t help but stare at him and how beautiful he is. His long skinny fingers to his bright eyes, silky brown hair, perfectly shaped lips and little nose. He is my last baby and I have never felt so much emotion and fullness as I do.
I love the way he smells and his little snuggles!
I feel so complete with my perfect family!
My fun little party of seven over here! lol
I know God made me a mom for a reason because, I have so much love to give and I know it sounds cheesy but I have truly never felt more love and happiness than I do today! I am so blessed to have another sweet baby boy!
I literally can’t stop watching him and his little faces as he dreams. I couldn’t be more thankful to the big guy upstairs for keeping us safe and healthy!
Phoenix Michael, I love you so son! 💙💙
