POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

This school year changed me in ways I don’t even think I fully understand yet. It was beautiful and painful all at once. There were moments filled with so much love and laughter, and there were also moments that honestly broke me. This year came with harassment, threats, bullying, anxiety, tears, and days where I genuinely did not know how I was going to get through everything.

But somehow, through all of it, I found or grew closer to some of the most incredible people I’ve ever known. The kind of friends who answer every phone call no matter the time. The kind of friends who sit with you while you cry, go with you when you’re scared, check on you without being asked, make you laugh when you feel numb, and remind you that you are never carrying things alone. They always found a way to make the dark days feel lighter.

Looking through these photos makes me emotional because behind every picture is a memory, a conversation, a moment where someone showed up for me in ways I’ll never forget. Some of these friendships are newer, some became so much stronger this year, but every single person here helped me survive one of the hardest years of my life. And not to mention all my best friends back home in California who aren’t even in these photos but have loved me through every second of this year from miles away. Distance has never changed the love I have for you guys.

I think the most beautiful thing about people is their ability to love each other through ugly seasons. Through stress, grief, fear, chaos, uncertainty, and pain. And this year taught me that real friendship is one of the most healing things in the world.

So here’s to the people who became home to me this school year. Thank you for every drive, every hug, every laugh, every pep talk, every “did you make it home safe,” every random visit, every distraction, every late night, and every moment you stood beside me when things felt heavy. I love you all more than words could ever explain. I wouldn’t be here without you guys 🫶🏻🌞
