uwaaa a belated otsukare from me for @bunnyburrowartmarket aka my first proper market!!!! 🎪🎡🎠

i am so so grateful for every person that stopped by to support and/or at least say hello to me and george 🥹🩷🥝

unfortunately, i didn't have the energy to go around to all the other lovely stallholders (i did not sleep the night before 🫩) but it was wonderful to see everyone enjoying themselves from the little seat behind my very modest (and slightly janky) half-table set-up 😅

i still SOMEHOW ended up with a few goodies at the end of the day though?? (courtesy of the lovelies tagged in the last slide) ❤️🧡💛

shout-out to the ringmasters @ruskyyii_ & @katnip.jpg for all their tireless hard work behind the scenes putting together such a fun circus-ey day for us all!! i am so grateful for the opportunity to have been a part of their debut market and i wish them all the best for future events 🍀🌟

I had the best time at Spoonfest on Sunday!!
Every market has its own flavour, and the organisers and volunteers from @genderbility as well as the visitors at Spoonfest were the loveliest and sweetest!! 🥹🥹
I had barely slept the night before and halfway thru I was exhausted. Someone saw me and offered to get someone to help with my booth, but I could manage on my own. They also gave us water and snack packs!!! I really loved the hand made decorations and the design of the Spoonfest mascot 🤣😁 Everyone who came to my booth was so encouraging and kind. I'm glad my art resonated with you. It was hard to believe it was the first time they organised this event. I'm sure a lot of hard work was put in behind the scenes. Thank you to the team and to all the artists who came by to trade with me 💚💖

The Singapore Ghosts zine also sold out! It's heartwarming that people here are interested in learning about our culture!! And it's a good way to meet other Singaporeans and Australians who lived in Sg before.

We DID do the Monster Mash. It WAS Thriller, Thriller Night. This IS the Season of the Witch. Loved tabling at the @zinespooktacular for a third year. This year, I even made a zine. It’s total level 1 of zine-making - all around me were considerably more advanced folds, crisper binding and sharper designs. But my wonderful zine scene friends were so happy to see me progress. I also had Castle of Horror anthologies which were popular - I’m down to only one copy! I also had prints of my Look Closer painting that I painstakingly die-cut by hand. The fair was so busy that I have massive FOMO - someone had a horror butterfly zine and I’m bummed I never found them. My shopping MO was mainly to look over at what @melancholymemento my table buddy had nabbed and to rush over for one too.

If you came up and had a chat, bought my first ever zine, or a knick knack, or an anthology with my fiction in it, or a print, or a rusty lunchbox, or any combination of these, if you did a trade, or gave me candies, or danced with me, thank you so much. 🖤

Special mentions to @mrnik_art @daisyattack for making this all happen! And to @rmcmahon22 who folds faster than Superman on laundry day!

Thanks for everyone who came by my table at @zinespooktacular on Saturday!! I always love a zine trade and a chat.

There were so many cool costumes and artists with amazing talent.

So pumped to make more zines, stay tuned for next zine fairs, new releases - and I’m going to make more zines available online!

Haul from Western Sydney Zine Fair.

Apologies to all the art ones I enjoyed but didn't take home... I guess I'm a words girl through and through.
