As promised... here’s the infamous ostrich dance.

For anyone wondering... yes, we know exactly what was happening. 👀

Let’s just say Mr Ostrich was doing everything he could to impress his lady... and judging by the ending, it looks like it worked! 🤣

Nature really is incredible... and occasionally, absolutely hilarious.

⚠️ Sensory warning: Excited ostriches, enthusiastic mating displays, lots of feathers, and plenty of laughing. Sound has been muted because our live commentary was... let’s call it Instagram inappropriate. 🙈

David Attenborough, we sincerely apologise.

If there was ever a day that had everything... this was it.

We started at the colourful beach huts of Muizenberg Beach, wandered through the charming streets of Simon’s Town, and finally met the famous residents of Boulders Beach... the penguins! 🐧 (IYKYK!)

From there, we made our way to Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope. Standing at the south-western tip of the African continent was a pretty surreal moment. We even took the Flying Dutchman Funicular up to the lighthouse, where the views over the rugged coastline were absolutely spectacular. 🌊

Along the way we were greeted by baboons, ostriches... and witnessed what can only be described as the most entertaining ostrich dance we’ve ever seen! 😂 Honestly, that one deserves a post all of its own.

Lunch was something special at Cape Point Vineyards, where incredible food, rolling vineyards and uninterrupted ocean views created one of those “pinch me” moments.

And to finish our South African adventure, we experienced the unforgettable GOLD Restaurant. An evening filled with drumming, singing, dancing, storytelling, and a spectacular 14-course African feast. It was the perfect celebration of the country’s incredible culture, flavours and hospitality.

A special thank you to Martin from @cape.premier.travel for an incredible day. Your local knowledge, stories and warm hospitality made an already amazing experience even more memorable.

South Africa... you’ve given us memories we’ll treasure forever. Until next time. ❤️🇿🇦
