What is freedom? It is about finding new avenues of expressing yourself without embarrassment.

When I moved to the Netherlands, I never thought I would 1) start performing comedy 2) enjoy it as much as I do now and 3) perform/crowd work in a bus that is ferrying around people to a museum night in Maastricht.

This is what I didn't know I needed: freedom to just exist in the awkwardness of doing silly things and making connections.

Thanks @kipcomedy and @museumnachtmaastricht for a great night of being an entertainer.

If you want to watch more of my thoughts, come to the Good Damage show on April 17th in Utrecht. Link in bio

🚌First time trying standup comedy on a bus

🐔🪽Thank you @kipcomedy and @angelofmaastricht for such a unique opportunity!

✨This felt like the Maastricht version of the movie Speed.

Whenever i become politically depresssed, i think about all the jokes i turned them into.

Thanks for all the joy, fun and freedom of speech all the venues, auidences and organizers have provided. The chemistry and adrenaline rush in the moment is truly additive, something i don't think i can live without more than two weeks.

Near the end of the 12 month journey, around 50 gigs done, I think i finally get what is like to connect with the auidence and keep things going when there is only two/three auidences (still don't think it's worth it though lol). I am bouncing around the dark/innocent and dead-pan persona, but i wish to explore more active performance now with some impov sessions really helped me release this part of my potential. @improvconspiracy

Special thanks to @alexnasse1 @cidnyclementine @stavrosatalos @jarrod_kane @comedyinthecellaraus for guidance, professionalism and organization, and @chengcomedy @might_ygud @big.olangi @multi.anamatic for good vibe, chat and friendship, and many more @voguemagazine @nasa @apec ......

Lastly, the comedy scene are drastically different in Netherlands, China, and even Melbourne and Sydney, I am happy to share my experience and connection if someone will be on the same boat.
